There will be two versions of Galaxy Note 10 based on the size. Note 10 Plus is the premium version which have a 6.8 inches screen, which is significantly bigger than 6.3 inches Note 10 (6.3 inches), and Note 9 (6.4 inches). It also includes an upgrade on RAM, storage, battery capacity and number of cameras.
Galaxy Note 10 vs. Note 10 Plus: What’s the difference?
It is the first time for Samsung to split the Note into two sizes. The company says it is to cater the needs of people who want a cheaper and smaller version of Note. The strategy gives Samsung an opportunity to sell the Note to two different groups of target customers. With sales slowing on expensive phones, Samsung may be trying to retarget and expand its customer base.An interesting fact is that Note 10 is now basically the Note “Lite”, which indicates the new role of the Note series. With the smaller size while keeping most of the features, Note 10 will most likely be competing with the Galaxy S10 plus in the market.
No Note 10 headphone jack: It’s time to embrace dongle life
Samsung has made a big decision on removing the headphone jack right away, as Samsung was one of the last brands that still supports the 3.5mm port. In this sense, removing the port signals a shift in new direction of the future Galaxy phones. Note 10 will include a pair of USB-C headphones for free in the box. (An adapter for your existing headphones is also available for purchase)
Gesture control is the big new S Pen trick
S Pen is always the main element of a Galaxy Note phone ever since Samsung’s launch of the series 7 years ago. Without fail, Samsung continues to improve and add more features to the new S Pen.Firstly, Samsung added “Air Actions” for selfie. With the Bluetooth functionality of the S Pen, Air Actions allows you to control your Note 10 with just a gesture. You can switch between shooting modes, zoom in/ out and control the shutter button with the S Pen.S Pen also act as a key component to the new native video editor of Note 10. It makes the whole process of splicing, scrubbing and rearranging timeline items easy and smooth.
